Rated 5 out of 5Â by trode Fambulus product! I just had a horibal time with another similar product from another distributor! This Startech unit is incredibly better yet in the same price range! : 1: The assembly instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The electrical connections to the SATA port involved no problematic cables and are fool-proofs! My Sata drive simply slid into a famale SATA onnnector that contained the SATA and power copnnections. This is very important because SATA cables can involve circuit board pins that are easily bent and cause short circuits. My previous, competing, product did not survive this problem. Everything about this Startech unit was superior! No fragile plastic panels; clear and easy to follow assembly instruction that even have diagrams showing the right size of screws to use in all four places needed. I don't think you can go wrong with this external SATA drive. April 20, 2010
