The Smart-UPS RT transformer is designed for use as an isolation transformer. The tower unit can be placed in a standard 19-inch rack. It should be mounted in the rack above the UPS using a specialized APC rail kit. The rail kit, SURTRK2, is sold separately as an accessory.
