The speed of this device compared to 1Gigabit network connected drives is breathtaking. Backup used to take upwards of 12 hours or more, now runs in 45 minutes. Absolutely recommend this! The best part is I took all my network connected drives apart and used the SATA drive in this Dock. April 20, 2010
