The D-Link DSS-24 is a powerful rackmount Dual Speed 24-port 10/100 Ethernet/Fast Ethernet NWay auto-negotiating Switch. It has (24) RJ-45 ports with port one being shared with an MDI-II uplink port. The unit helps to relieve data congestion on your network because it functionally eliminates unnecessary traffic and relieves data congestion by delivering dedicated bandwidth for each of the sixteen ports. It also uses NWay auto-negotiation so that you can connect to either an Ethernet or Fast Ethernet device.
The DSS-24 provides dynamic buffer allocation that employs network-load balancing for faster data handling and the uplink interface connection enables easy expansion. The DSS-24 also uses fast store and forward architecture to ensure low latency and high data integrity.
