Rated 1 out of 5Â by hobo I am disappointed I am disappointed because there are numerous instances documented on the web concerning failure of the eSATA cable provided by WD. Mine failed too. I bought an eSATA II cable and after jiggling the plug repeatedly at the WD drive end, the drive was finally recognized. But I am afraid to move anything. WD hasn't been proactive in eliminating the cable/connector deficiencies, even after all these incidents. It has been going on for years. May 7, 2013
