Rated 5 out of 5Â by burro A serious monitor and a visual treat. I can't do a technical review of this monitor. I depended on others for that, checking out the usual places and gathering info. I bought the monitor for photo processing, using Lightroom 3 and PS Elements 9, and it's fantastic for that purpose. LR3 really gets to spread out seamlessly, and the clarity and color are both excellent. It's an extravagance for me monetarily, as I don't make money with my pictures at this time, but I really enjoy doing the photo thing, and considering the amount of time I'm spending in front of the monitor, I think it was money well spent. PC Connection Express provided a very reasonable price and fine follow through on the order. I'm totally happy with this investment, and if I ever do make any money with my photos, I believe that this monitor will have contributed to that accomplishment, as it inspires confidence in preparing the photos to look their best. This is my second NEC monitor. I moved up from a 20" that was also excellent, but certainly not as nice as this one. The calibration unit was totally familiar as I was using the Eye One previously, and the procedure is pretty much the same, even simpler now as the calibrator and the monitor are built to talk to each other, and the process is pretty much hands off once it starts. Rated 5 out of 5Â by chrismorrow Excellent LCD Monitor I'd heard many good things about this monitor and decided to bite the bullet and buy it. This was a very good move. I couldn't be happier with it, and the Colorimeter that was part of this package. It calibrates in about 10 minutes, so I don't have any excuses for not doing a calibration routine every couple of weeks. Hooking it up to my MacBook Pro 15" mid-2009 laptop was accomplished by purchasing a separate DVi to MiniDVI cable from another source, since the cables provided didn't match my setup. That was the only potential glitch, but since I knew about it ahead of time, I was prepared.I'd buy an additional one if I could afford it. January 18, 2011
