Rated 3 out of 5Â by MarshMellow Who designed the speakers? I purchased this for the speakers, where do I start. It has NO external speaker controls you have to go into the monitors menu system to adjust the volume, mute, etc. No less than 6 menu button presses. There is a single speaker but its behind the face of the monitor. I don't like speakers that are facing away from me, I have to crank the volume to hear anything while co-workers behind my monitor get blasted with horrible sound. I think the last time I heard sound this bad was when my friend used his J.I. Joe walkie talkie to broadcast a song to my end. The monitor though is visually stunning. Very bright, detailed, decent angle of view(s), but get the version w/out speakers. October 26, 2012
