Capacity can be added with zero downtime, and ReadyNAS supports both file sharing and server applications like Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server or VMware.

With the 1500, users can implement a disk backup solution for workstations and servers data protection by using the integrated backup manager, Acronis ABR10 or other certified 3rd party backup software. Additionally with ReadyNAS Vault use can archive business-critical data to the cloud for disaster recovery. ReadyNAS 1500 X-Change design greatly improve the system serviceability and minimize the down time caused by hardware failure.
