The EDGE 60GB Boost Pro SATA 6Gb/s 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive is designed to be a direct replacement for traditional spinning disk hard drives. Utilizing MLC flash storage technology, the Boost Pro provides data transfer rates of up to 550MB/s read and 515MB/s write with typically more than 50 percent faster boot times over hard drives. Th drive also provides up to 13 percent longer battery life, is more energy efficient, and runs cooler than a traditional hard drive. This energy efficiency coupled with no moving parts thanks to it flash technology makes the Boost Pro much more durable and reliable than traditional hard drives.

The Boost Pro is SandForce Driven thanks to the SandForce SF-2281 controller providing elite performance and reliability. This drive is also secure thank to 256-bit AES hardware encryption protecting 100 percent of your data when enabled.

No regrets, again. Fast, easy to use, and if it matters, I like that they are assembled in USA. Hands down...5 Stars! November 5, 2012
