This Mini SAS to 2x 2.5" SATA/SAS + Slim Optical Drive 5.25" Hot Swap Backplane allows a single 5.25" front bay to fit two 2.5" SATA or SAS hard drives or solid state drives, as well as a slimline SATA optical drive. With removable and lockable drive trays, the hard drives can easily be taken out of the system, but also secured from unauthorized removal. The slim optical bay fits most off-the-shelf slim optical drives and a built-in cooling fan helps keep the installed devices running optimally.
