Unlike the W2 and W1 models, this device sits on top of a desk or shelf, instead of being mounted, offering the user mobility in moving it for optimal positioning.
The TruLink Media Gateway is a powerful all-in-one audio/video signal processor auto-switch that enables users to easily connect a wide array of portable electronic devices to an HDTV or projector. This active connectivity desktop component provides hassle-free connectivity for laptops, iPod/iPad/iPhone, digital/video cameras, Blu-ray or DVD players and game consoles to HDTVs or projectors. Its versatility makes it perfect for multiple applications in the Hospitality, Education and Healthcare markets. Using this connectivity panel eliminates the need to plug and unplug devices from behind a TV or projector, or in hard to reach places, and moves the connections to a place that is convenient for use.
The TruLink Media Gateway is able to automatically upscale 480i (NTSC) and 576i (PAL) analog video signals up to 1920 x 1080p and display native HDMI or DVI digital video signal up to 1920 x 1080p. It also supports SXGA resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 through the VGA input. Automatic switching and charging capabilities via its USB port, Apple port or optional power outlets provide additional ease-of-use. The RJ-45 port can also be used for deployment of firmware which will automatically update the firmware via FTP, saving hundreds of hours in labor.
Note: The TruLink Media Gateway is FCC certified Class A for commercial applications and should not be used in residential installations.
