At nearly half the size, the ScanSnap S1300i is the smallest multi-page, duplex capable ScanSnap for scanning on the road or at the desk. ScanSnap converts disorganization into order with intelligent features that work behind the scenes to correct images so you do not have to. Just press the "SCAN" button and the 10 page automatic document feeder scans both sides of each page at up to 12 pages per minute.

The ScanSnap S1300i works on both Mac and PC operating systems, making flexibility and portability a breeze. The ScanSnap S1300i can be powered by the PC or Mac USB port when an AC power source is not available.

Bundled software includes Cardiris Business Card Software for the Mac, ScanSnap Organizer and Cardminder Business Card Software for the PC. Scan to Mobile is also featured with ScanSnap Connect, where you can link your ScanSnap to your iPad, iPhone or Android device for viewing on the go.

The learning curve appears to be steep and I don't have the time to research it more. I want software that allows me to file the scans like file folders and can make back up files all in one step. Rated 4 out of 5Â by Charlie Good scanner with some drawback. Paper feed is not the best. Paper will feed at an angle unless great care is given towatching the infeed. If paper runs at a angle, the original will be torn. Tends to feed two pages at once when multiple pages placed on infeed. when all goes well then scan is great. Be perpared to stop scanning if infeed starts to feed original at an angle. April 20, 2013
