This is replacement battery cartridge #21 (RBC 21) for APC battery backup UPS systems.

APC batteries provide factory-spec performance for your UPS. Off brand batteries may void warranty, may affect UPS voltage regulation, run time, and provide unpredictable results.

APC recycles used batteries and almost 100% of the battery lead content is reused, protecting the environment.

APC supplies the appropriate instructions for your UPS, along with any needed wires; all connections made with high current gas-tight crimps for high reliability.

NOTE: Any RBC that exceeds 150 lbs. or heavy weight pickup limits, will not be issued return tags. The customer will be responsible for disposal.

Use of a non-APC battery will void APC's Equipment Protection Policy.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by No Name Short life for service rendered The replacement battery only lasted s couple of years and is awfully expensive for what was not more than a total of about 180 seconds of providing backup power during that period. Battery technology can be MUCH better than that. June 30, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5Â by FFS CPA Battery Bad in the Box? Installed replacement battery in my APC Back-UPS 500 VA, but immediately a warning tone was heard along with "replace battery" light. Tone and light don't go out until you physically detach battery from leads inside the unit. Have requested guidance from customer service; will advise further once I hear anything from them. July 17, 2010
