However, when any USB device needing continuous power is plugged in, and the Mac goes to sleep, a system crash occurs. At first, some devices would not boot up or would not run at USB 2.0 speed. Reinserting the PCI card into a different slot has solved this problem, and USB 2.0 devices will show up connected to the High Speed Bus. November 3, 2012
