The Tripp Lite 16-port KVM Console Switch with 17" LCD is the optimal solution for controlling multiple computers from one keyboard, mouse and monitor. This single unit combines a 16 port KVM switch, keyboard, 17" LCD monitor and touchpad in 1U of rack space which stores neatly in the rack and pulls out when needed. You control up to 512 computers from this single console by daisy-chaining additional 16 port KVM switches (model B022-016), and you easily switch ports using the On-Console buttons, touchpad with On Screen Display (OSD), or by using the keyboard "hot key" functions. PS/2, USB, or SUN systems are controlled using the appropriate cable kit. Extra VGA and PS/2 ports on the rear of the unit allow connection of a Remote Access IP unit (model B050-000) or seperate console.
Other features include superior video quality (1280 x 1024), two levels of password protection (administrator/user), available "Super Flex" 3-in-1 cables which make cable management a breeze, and upgradeable firmware.
