This 10GbE module with two fixed CX4 ports and two X2 slots is designed for your ProCurve Switch 3500yl series and ProCurve Switch 6200yl-24G-mGBIC. Only the two fixed CX4 ports on this module support the ProCurve 10GbE CX4 Media Converter (J8439A). The maximum cabling distance is 15m for CX4 or 300m for media converter with ribbon MMF.
