Rated 5 out of 5Â by bmasta Excellent product The Siig 1394 is an excellent, sturdy, and reliable product. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of this purchase. I use the card to hook my Echo Audiofire 4 audio interface via firewire and have a consistent, non-dropping signal to my desktop computer. The device is plug and play, which is huge help and makes installation in under ~2 minutes. The item does contain a Texas Instruments chip, so you know the quality of the build is excellent. Even the metal bracket for external connections is wonderfully durable and tough. I am very satisfied and pleased with this Siig product. It is definitely a higher performance brand and product.
