I was very disappointed as this mouse would not work with my HP desktop PC. A friend tried it on their computer and it worked fine, but wouldn't work on my desktop. Groan!

when you leave it for a while the mouse goes to sleep to save on battery llfe; a roll of the wheel and it's back in business. No shaking required.

Tracking is very slow and looses connection very easily. When you leave and come back, you have to wiggle quite a bit to get connection.
