The Tripp Lite USB Console Interface Module allows you to be connected to a B060-032 or B060-016-2 Matrix KVM Switch (each available separately) with access from as far away as 500 feet. (1) VGA and (2) USB ports allow a keyboard, monitor and mouse to be connected to the unit, which is then connected to the KVM Switch via Cat5 cabling.
The unit allows you to use your PC's monitor, keyboard and mouse as the KVM console station. Simply use the switch on the front of the box to toggle between PC use and KVM switch use. It is not necessary to set up a separate console station for the KVM switch.
