I bought one of these. It worked fine for a year, which was the warranty period. Then it stopped working. I threw it out, and bought a replacement printer from another manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by v/ Excellent product
- 30 mn. to unpack, install, plug, setup, heat and print on Unix/Cups-1.4.3 system (.ppd on the net). Cups recognize immediatly Xerox3250 on your net. No CD required, nothing to do, just plug, add your printer and ppd, and print.
- full web admin, very easy to use.
- Very quick, very silent.
- PS3 and PCL5 & 6 supported.
- Don't expect a fine/high print quality on large n&b picture (seeing some discret gray ruber)
- very good product for letter print, office and home use.
- Nice job, thanks for this excellent and professionnal product.

Rated 1 out of 5 Do not buy this product!
I have had my Phaser 3250 for about 20 months. I bought it for business use, but we are a small office, so it probably only prints 100-150 pages per week. It wasn't fast, but I was happy with it until its first toner cartridge ran out, which, by the way, was about 3 days after the machine came out of warranty. When I put in a new toner cartridge, the Phaser started printing poorly. I called Xerox tech help and they sent me a new cartridge. Cartridge # 2 was leaking toner, so I called again, and they sent me another cartridge. Cartridge # 3 did not print properly either, but the printing problem was not the same as the problem with the first bad cartridge. I put in a couple more replacement cartridges, and the machine performance changed with each cartridge. Finally, a tech person informed me that a bad cartridge can corrupt the printer driver and I should install a new driver. So I did that, and it seemed to solve the problem. Everything was great for 6 months. Then I ran out of toner again. This time, the duplexer stopped working (it had worked fine until I put in a new cartridge), and the Phaser started skipping sheets and occasionally printing a heavy black line at the top of the sheet. Before calling Xerox, I installed a new driver, but it didn't solve the problem. I spoke to tech service and to a Xerox service person, and I tried two more toners, and the problem has remained. I have no idea what's going on, but I have trouble believing that the duplexer broke just as I was installing a new toner. Even if it did, a well-built machine should not be breaking after 1-1/2 years of light office use. We are limping along with it for now (and not duplexing) because I don't want to pay a big repair bill, but I will definitely not be buying any more Xerox machines.
