This HP Half-Height SATA DVD-ROM Drive is designed for use with select HP ProLiant ML series servers. The Half-Height SATA DVD-ROM has a maximum speed of 16X with DVD and 40X when used with CD-ROM/CD -R/RW. It is designed to read not only CD-ROM and CD -R/RW discs but also DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD +R/RW and DVD -R/RW discs and supports most major operating systems.
