I particularly like the shape of these speakers. I wanted speakers that were boxy in dimension so that I could lie them on their side underneath a couple of flat panel monitors. And, they needed to be small enough not to strut up against my keyboard. They fit wonderfully! Plus, their black finish blends in well with the black finish of my monitors. No glaring lights to distract me either; just soft blue around the back of the volume knob. Sound-wise they are acceptable, not much for high fidelity.
