The Schneider Electric InRow RD cooling unit is a modular air conditioning unit, available in
this direct expansion (DX) model. It is the width of a standard enclosure (600mm), and can be placed in a data-center row. It provides full management capabilities over a network using Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Telnet, HTTP over Secure Sockets Layer (HTTPS), Secure Shell (SSH), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), File Transfer Protocol, (FTP), Secure CoPy (SCP), and Modbus. The cooling unit provides the following features: group control; temperature monitoring; remote shutdown; output contact monitoring; event log accessible by Telnet, FTP, SSH, SCP, serial connection, the display interface, or a web browser; SNMP traps and e-mail notifications sent in response to events Syslog events sent to configured Syslog servers; security protocols for authentication and encryption.
The InRow Direct Expansion product design closely couples the cooling with the IT heat load. This design prevents hot air recirculation, while improving cooling predictability and allowing for a pay as you grow environment. Available in self-contained, fluid cooled, and air-cooled configurations with or without humidity control, these products meet the diverse requirements for closet, server room, and data center cooling. IT operators looking to improve efficiency or deploy higher density equipment will benefit from the modular design of the InRow Direct Expansion products. The intelligent controls of the InRow Direct Expansion products actively adjust fan speed and refrigerant flow to match the IT heat load to maximize efficiency and address the dynamic demands of today's IT environments.
