The NVIDIA OSFP transceiver module is designed for high-speed connectivity with a data transfer rate of 1600 Gbps. It features a plug-in module form factor, making it easy to install and replace. The dual female connectors are compatible with Ethernet 800GBase-DR4 cabling, offering a maximum transfer distance of up to 500 m. This transceiver operates within a temperature range of 20°C to 70°C while consuming 33.5 W of power. Enhanced with an Electro-absorption Modulated Laser (EML) and pulse-amplitude modulation (PAM4), this module ensures reliable data transmission while being hot-pluggable for added convenience.
